The Bailey

Yves Saint Laurent’s iconic “Le Smoking” tuxedo—made famous by Bianca Jagger, who wore it on the occasion of her wedding to Mick—served as a starting point for Alvin’s interpretation of the classic boy-meets-girl pant. Always inspired by women who are at once strong and feminine, Alvin designed The Bailey as the ultimate power pant. The straight, slightly tapered shape of the leg; a tuxedo stripe that extends all the way to the waist; and minimal detailing (no bulky side pockets) lend the style an ultra-slimming effect. Available in of-the-moment color combinations, including heather gray with a charcoal stripe and an evening-ready black with a black stripe.
